Ghost Rider - Road Trip on care - Book Review

Neil Peart, drummer and lyricist of talent for the Canadian rock band Rush and his wife lost her daughter 18 years old in a car accident in 1997. Almost a year to the day after Neil has his wife to cancer. Alone and struggling with the pain, not knowing if he continues in the life without it, Neil is off to an amazing journey of rediscovery and healing.

In this journey, with its bold Neil ghosts in tow, decides in the world for its faithful BMWR1100GS motorcycles. Travel north-west through Canada to Alaska, then south through British Columbia, the United States and continue his journey. Overall, it covers 55,000 miles in North America, including Mexico and Belize, on his motorcycle.

I was left with an incredible admiration and respect for this guy. Certainly paints a wonderful picture with words to describe the details of the people, landscapes, and his feelings during his adventure. This book also shares manyhistorical anecdotes of the various places through Neil, shows great interest for the sites, and shares with us this interest. Read her story has raised my awareness brings me closer to my own world through the depiction of him.

There are many funny moments in this book as well, including the time it joined a small pension, he had stopped when the owner had to stay there, even though they were closed. Neil was the only one there, on thatRemote site. As he returns is a delight. You will laugh until you cried when his big bird, clashes with the reading, take the highway. It certainly has a way with words, and is an entertaining writer.

While reading Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road, I learned a lot about Canada, the United States and Mexico. Neil describes the beautiful places, the colored people and great experiences, all the while struggling with his emotions openly and share with the reader. This book isa real adventure and open your eyes. Neil, never ceases to amaze, his writing really excited, while the much-needed laughter and sometimes tears cleansing.
